Where the Money Goes
The San Diego Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence have supported the following non-profit organizations by granting monies or assisting with fundraising efforts:
Art Bus : Provides unique art opportunities for children.
Auntie Helen's : Provides laundry services for those living with AIDS and blanket-outreach for the homeless.
Diversionary Theatre : Since the founding in 1986, The Diversionary Theatre has provided an inspiring, inclusive, and empowering space for community to celebrate and explore complex, provocative, and diverse LGBTQIA+ stories which contribute to the larger cultural discussion.
Endometriosis Foundation of America : Awareness, Education, Research, and Effective Intervention.
Mama's Kitchen : Community-driven organization that provides meals and nutrition services to improve the lives of women, men, and children vulnerable to hunger due to AIDS/HIV, Cancer, and other critical illnesses.
South Bay Pride : Building a coalition of the LGBTQIAA community for social networking, business promotion, and political awareness in South San Diego County and Baja California North.
Special Delivery : Volunteers cook and deliver meals five days a week to individuals and families in San Diego living with AIDS, Cancer, and other critical illnesses.
Youth Rally : Provides an environment for adolescents living with conditions of the bowel and bladder that encourages self-confidence and independent living.
